Access Control

Secure your doors.

Keycard, mobile, and biometric access for NYC buildings and offices. Add or remove access in seconds, from anywhere.

Stop cutting keys.

Lost keys stop being a problem. You revoke a credential in seconds, not days. New tenant moves in — they're set up before they unpack. Old tenant moves out — their access ends the moment the lease does.

You see who entered, when, and through which door. From your phone. From a laptop. From anywhere.

Do you need?

Keycard and fob systems

Encrypted credentials you can issue, revoke, or replace in seconds. No rekeying locks. No reissuing master sets.

Mobile credentials

Tenants and staff unlock doors from their phone. Add or remove access remotely. No physical cards to lose.

Biometric readers

Fingerprint and facial recognition for high-security areas. Tamper-proof audit trail of every entry.

Multi-door networked systems

Centralized control across floors, buildings, or sites. Real-time monitoring, scheduled lock and unlock, elevator integration.

How we'd approach your building.

The tenant who moved out but still has keys

A lease ended, and you're not sure how many keys or fobs they made. Rekeying the building costs a fortune, and you'd do it again next turnover.

What we install: Credentials you revoke from a dashboard in seconds. When a tenant leaves, their card, fob, or phone stops working that day. No rekeying, no chasing down keys from people who already left.

The office where everyone reaches every floor

A multi-tenant building where one keyset opens everything. The tenant on five wants their floor secured, and you have no record of who went where.

What we install: Floor-by-floor permission profiles, so each tenant reaches only their space. Every entry logged. Add elevator integration and the cab won't stop on a floor someone isn't cleared for.

The building tired of paying per door, forever

The current system charges an annual license on every door, and the bill climbs every year whether anything changed or not.

What we install: UniFi: hardware you own outright, no per-door license, no annual bill that climbs on its own. Manage it yourself or have us do it. If you'd rather have cloud convenience, we lay out Brivo's subscription up front so you can compare.

Access control you're not stuck with.

No long contracts

Some platforms carry a manufacturer subscription, and we put that term in writing before you sign. Our own service stays month to month. You stay because the work holds up, not because you're locked in.

One platform, not five

Doors, cameras, intercom — all on the same management pane when you want them to be. One login. One place to look.

You're not locked to us

Mainstream platforms, full documentation, and admin access you control. Want a different contractor to take it over in year four? They step into the same system. You're never stuck with us.

Common questions

How long does an install take?

Most single-building jobs take two to five business days. A small office with one or two doors can be done in a day. A larger building with lobby, garage, and elevator integration may need a full week. We give you a timeline after the site survey.

Can you retrofit access control into an older NYC building?

Yes. We regularly retrofit pre-war and mid-century buildings. We use wireless locks and battery-powered readers where hard-wiring is impractical, so we don't have to open walls.

Do I need a permit for access control in NYC?

Low-voltage access control usually doesn't need a DOB work permit. Installs that touch fire alarm integration or change means of egress sometimes do. We evaluate during the site survey and handle filings if needed.

What happens when a tenant or employee leaves?

You revoke their credential from the admin panel. Takes seconds. Their card, fob, or phone stops working immediately. No rekeying. No collecting old cards from people who already left.

Can I give each tenant access to only their floor?

Yes. We set floor-by-floor permission profiles, so a credential opens only the spaces that tenant is cleared for. Add elevator integration and the cab won't stop on a floor someone isn't authorized to reach. Every entry is logged.

Do I have to pay a license fee for every door?

Depends on the platform. Cloud systems like Brivo carry a per-door subscription. Self-hosted systems like UniFi you own outright, no recurring license. We tell you which is which before you sign, and the cost goes in the proposal, not a renewal invoice two years later.

Let's scope it.

Tell us about the building. We'll set up a site visit and quote what the job actually costs.
